Sheree Brye

Mrs. Sheree Ruth Boyette Brye, age 65, of Elon, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Waco, TX, she was the daughter of the late Archie F. Boyette and Barbara Cowell Boyette, who survives.  She was married for over 28 years to Fredrick Loel Brye, Jr., who survives.  She recently retired from Smithfield Chicken and BBQ and attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Mrs. Brye is survived by her husband of the home; a son, John Voorhies and his wife, Michelle; two grandsons, Ty and Matthew Voorhies; a sister, Allison Loden and husband, Jimmy; a brother, Chuck Boyette and wife, Sue; two nephews, Stephen and Chad Boyette; and two step children.

A private service will be held at a later date.
