Steven Craig Poliseno

Steven Craig Poliseno, 77, of Burlington, passed away on August 27, 2026, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

Born in Franklin County, Ohio, Steven was the son of the late Albert Andrew Poliseno and Rhea Juanita Hutchinson Poliseno. He was married for more than 49 years to his beloved wife, Alison Coleman Poliseno, who survives.

Steven proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was an avid painter and a member of Alamance Arts. He loved spending time outdoors and was a member of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his wife, Steven is survived by his two children, Rhonda Glover and husband, Tim, and Anthony Poliseno and wife, Shannon; grandchildren, Ali Glover, and Elliot and Robin Poliseno; sister, Lori Ashley and husband, Tom; brothers, Richard and Brian Poliseno; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, Bailee Glover.

Steven will be remembered for his love of family, his creativity, his appreciation for the outdoors, and the many lives he touched throughout the years. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
