Teresa Lee Manning Haseben

Teresa Lee Manning Haseben, 66, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at Alamance Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving friends and family.  A native of Kanawha, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late David and Doris Manning and was married for over 8 years to William Harold Haseben, who passed in 1994.  

Teresa was of the Presbyterian faith.  She worked as a registered nurse at Allegheny General Hospital as well as Duke University Hospital when she moved to North Carolina to be closer to her parents. Teresa enjoyed baking, canning jams and jellies and then inviting friends and family over for tea parties to share her baked goods with.  She was also a lifelong cat lover, her most recent fur babies being Sam and Gracie.  But most of all Teresa loved spending time with her family, playing scrabble and taking her parents out to dinner.  She will be remembered for being an incredible mother as well as her ability to make people smile with her warm and loving personality.  

Teresa is survived by her daughter; Holly Michelle Haseben, sister; Gayle Manning and the Mitchell family. She was preceded in death by her husband; William Harold Haseben and parents; David Treadway Manning and Doris McKeand Manning and mother-in-law; Virginia Haseben. 

There will be a celebration of life gathering at Daniel's Restaurant, 1430 W. Williams Street, Apex, NC, at 5:30 PM on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.  If you plan on attending, please RSVP to Holly Haseben at 412-657-1407.
