Terry Smithey

Burlington – Terry Ryan Smithey, 74, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his home.  He was born in Alamance County and was the son of the late Ernest Stanton Garland Smithey, Sr. and Pearlie Mae Creech Smithey.  He was a former employee of Glen Raven Mills and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.  Terry was a U.S. Army veteran and an avid Tarheel fan

He is survived by nieces and nephews, Angela Smith and husband, Richard Bradshaw, Sheila, Sonya, Dwayne and Billy; and several great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Larry Smithey and Stanton Smithey, Jr.
