Theresa Patterson

Theresa Crowe Patterson, 89, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Clare Bridge of Burlington Manor. She was born in Forsyth County, GA on May 18, 1923 to the late Meredith L. Crowe and Rose Bruce Crowe and was the wife of the late Edwin Eugene Patterson. Theresa was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a member of T.O.P.S. Survivors include her son, Richard "Snap" Meredith Patterson and wife, Judy of Newport, NC; daughters, Beverly Patterson Staley and husband John of Whitsett and Rita Patterson Whitley and husband, Stan of Burlington; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents; sisters, Hazel Reece, Ruby Mashburn and Ima Crowe and a brother, Major Crowe. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, January7, 2012 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Ernest Beck with the burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 prior to the service and other times at her daughter's home at 2319 Lacy St., Burlington, NC. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the nurses and staff at Clare Bridge and Hospice for their loving care during Theresa's illness.
