Theresa Tapp

Burlington, NC Theresa "Seedie" Sykes Tapp, age 83, formerly of Willowbrook Drive passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the Hospice Home at High Point. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of the late Carl Hayworth Tapp, Sr. Theresa retired after 37 years with the Rack Room and later worked with H&K Bootery. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her life was centered around her family and a strong work ethic. Survivors include her daughters, Karen Tapp Hopkins and husband, Eldon of Greensboro, Danita Del Sloan of Roswell, Georgia; son, Carl Hayworth Tapp, Jr. and wife, Rebecca of Greensboro; grandchildren, Brittanie Hopkins Coleman, Katherine Hopkins Van Hine, Olivia Nicole Tapp and Brittany Micaela Sutton; great grandchildren, Liza Grace Coleman and Jackson Lee Coleman and a sister, Ella Ruth Smith of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, parents, Flymm Sykes and Maude Coleman Sykes Perry and a sister, Bobbie Jean Watson. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Alamance Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials be made to Susan G.
