Thorburn Meeler

Thorburn “Bo” Mazelle Meeler, 90, passed away Monday January 4, 2021 at Alamance HealthCare Home.  He was born April 25, 1930 in Petersburg, VA to the late Alfred Landis and Mable Virginia Harrison Meeler and was married to the late Lola Glover Meeler.

Bo retired from being a terrific car parts salesman and manager for various locations throughout the area.  He was a very generous man and was very involved in his church, Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church where he served in many capacities.  He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a Scoutmaster for many years.  His passion was a love for golf, gardening, and ball room dancing on Saturday nights. He was a faithful husband and a fun-loving uncle.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews and a special God-son. He will be greatly missed by his many golfing buddies and cherished friends.

A memorial service is scheduled for January 17, 2021 at Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church at 2:00 PM.
