Timothy William Champion

     Mr. Timothy William Champion, age 49, of Burlington, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at his residence after several months of failing health.

     Born in Durham County, NC he was the son of the late James William Champion and the late Katherine Denson Williams and was married for over 24 years to Mrs. Kimberly Beeson Champion, who survives.  Timothy was employed as a manager and installer with Auto Glass Fitters.  He loved hunting, fishing and outdoor pursuits and was an avid sports fan, especially the UNC Tarheels, and enjoyed helping coach his son’s sports teams.

     Timothy is survived by his wife of the home; three children, Austin Shane Champion, Tyler James Champion and Mikayla Grace Champion; and a sister, Gina Montanaro.

     A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, September 8, 2023 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Chaplin Carolyn Burrus.
