Timothy Drew Williams, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at his residence on February 23, 2026, after several years of declining health, at the age of 65. Born on October 18, 1960, Timothy touched the lives of many during his time on this earth. His warmth, kindness, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
For many years, Timothy dedicated his skills as a Finisher at Craftique and Whites Furniture in Mebane, where he was known not only for his meticulous craftsmanship but also for his ability to bring a smile to his colleagues' faces. He held a special place in his heart for the furniture he worked on, seeing it as an extension of his commitment to quality and care.
A devoted member of North Graham Baptist Church, Timothy loved his Lord. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him in his relationships with his family and friends. The love he had for his wife, Mary Kaye Williams, whom he cherished for 34 wonderful years, was evident in every aspect of his life. Together, they built a family filled with love, laughter, and countless unforgettable memories.
Timothy's legacy continues through his children, Helen Keeter (JT), Kristy Vestal (Robert), Timothy Williams, Jr. (Jennifer), Christi Armstrong, and Melissa Carter (James). He found immense joy in being a father, and his love extended to his sixteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
In addition to his immediate family, Timothy is survived by his siblings: Randy Williams (Norma), Jerry Williams, Daniel Williams, Joan Mercer, and Donna Mercer, as well as many nieces and nephews who adored him. His family was his pride, and he took great delight in spending time with them, often sharing stories and laughter that will forever echo in their hearts.
Timothy also had to say goodbye to those who preceded him in death. He is reunited with his father, Melvin Ray Williams, and mother, Elsie Joyce Stout Williams, who nurtured him with love throughout his life. The bonds he shared with his brothers Gary Williams and Rodney Williams, as well as his sisters Theresa and Susan Williams, were cherished throughout his lifetime. He will also be remembered fondly by the grandsons he lost, Dylan and Hunter Williams.
The community and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Timothy's life during visitation on February 26, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory in Burlington, NC. Timothy will then be interred at Alamance Memorial Park at 12:30 PM.
Timothy Drew Williams lived a life filled with love, faith, and service to others—his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May his memory be a blessing to all, and may we find comfort in sharing the stories and experiences that made him the remarkable man he was.
