Tina Diane Tickle, age 63, was born on January 30, 1963, in Alamance County. She lived a life full of love and kindness until her peaceful passing on February 9, 2026, at the Hospice Home of Alamance, following several months of failing health.
Tina dedicated a significant part of her life to her career as a Registered Nurse with the UNC Healthcare System. Her work was a testament to her compassion and dedication to helping others, and she touched many lives along the way.
Outside of her professional life, she attended Eastside Baptist Church, where she found fellowship and support. Tina was also known for her hobbies; she loved to cook, tending to her garden, and preserving through canning. Her culinary delights brought joy to her family and friends.
Tina’s loving spirit will continue to live on through her cherished family. She is survived by her sons, Joshua Edward Gerringer (Lauren) and Barron Matthew Gerringer, as well as her granddaughter, Charlestyn May. Tina also shared a special bond with her brother, Tim Tickle (Melissa), along with her beloved nieces and nephews, Michael, Ryan, Jonathan, Hunter, and Chelsea. Tina was preceded in death by her parents, William Howard Tickle, Jr. and Mildred Linda Sara Cameron Tickle, and her brother, William H. Tickle III.
A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Tina's life will take place from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory.
Tina Diane Tickle will be remembered fondly for her warmth, her caring nature, and the love she freely gave to those around her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
