He was instrumental in leading hundreds of individuals to the Lord through his many years as a Sunday School teacher and various roles within the church.  Toby went on numerous mission trips to destinations including Canada, Jamaica, and South Dakota and was a faithful member of Lamb's Chapel.

Toby is survived by his loving wife, Deborah "Debbie" Mann Mullis; daughters Sonya Mullis Fields and husband, Dennis and Ashley Mullis Cantrell and husband, Randall; granddaughters Vanessa Cantrell and Reagan Fields; a sister Lillie "Toot" Everette of Garner, NC as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
