Tommy Lee Hundley, 68, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at his home. He was a native of Alamance County and the son of the late William McKinley Hundley and Reba Lee Shore Hundley. He was the husband of 50 years to Wendy Ray Hundley who survives.
Tommy retired from Sapa after 27 years. He was a member of Harvest Hills Church of God. Tommy enjoyed the outdoors, camping with his family, hunting, fishing and gardening. He enjoyed dancing at the campground and listening to Country and Old Time Rock-n-Roll music. Tommy loved his family and especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Wendy Ray Hundley of the home; his daughters, Tracy Russell of Ronaoke, Virginia and Jennifer Hundley of Burlington; his grandchildren, Donna (Kevin) Beam, Laney (Jacob Hurd) Webster, Ashton Russell, Jayda (Elijah) Beebe, Nathan Webster, Dixie Russell and Emma Russell; his great grandchildren, Blake, Bradley, Preston, Abel, Grayson and Isley; his sister, Bonnie Albright of Burlington and his brothers, Rev. Jerry Hundley and wife, Joyce of Wake Forest and Jesse Hundley and wife, Betty of Caswell County. He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant son and a brother, Michael Hundley.
A service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at 2PM at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home.
