Tommy Keith Jordan

Tommy Keith Jordan, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 17, 2023. He was born on in Alamance County to the late Richard Adam Jordan, Sr. and Alease Catherine Ina Minor Jordan, and was the husband of 52 years to Faye Warren Jordan who survives.

Tommy was employed with Kayser Roth for many years and retired after 37 years with Sonoco Products. He was a lifetime member of Staley Memorial Baptist Church where he was saved at 10 years old and served as a Junior usher. Tommy served as a Deacon, Sunday School teacher for the Eula Minor Class, VBS Teacher, Children’s church leader, choir member and sang in specials. He volunteered as well with the box lunch outreach at the church. Tommy enjoyed ice cream, cashews, horses, old westerns, and listening to Christian Music. He was an avid reader of Christian books and periodicals. Tommy looked forward to family beach trips, time spent with his family and receiving junk mail.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Faye Warren Jordan of the home; his sons, Brian Keith Jordan and wife, Kimberly of Burlington, Charles Michael Jordan of Burlington and his fiancée, Lela Mosher of Graham and Jonathan Edward Jordan and wife, Elizabeth of Wendell, NC; grandchildren, Brian Calab (Amanda) Jordan, Joshua Shane (Kelsea) Jordan, Madison Ann Jordan, Cole Edward Jordan, Wyatt Graham Jordan and Gavin Wallace Jordan; great grandchildren, Emily Lynn Jordan and Lanie Grace Jordan; his brother, Richard Adam Jordan, Jr. of Mebane and his sister, Dolly Jordan Benesch and husband, Tony of Mebane. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, James Robert “JB” Jordan.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at Staley Memorial Baptist Church on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 2:00PM by Pastor Rodney Staley and the burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
