Toni Parker Thorpe
Toni Parker Thorpe, 75, went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the hospice home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 4, 1947 in Forsyth County to the late Chaplain A.G. Parker and Georgia Winborne Parker, and was the wife of 45 years to Thomas Phillip “Phil” Thorpe who survives.
Toni retired from Glen Raven Mills and was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, ancestor research, art, helping others but most of all she loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Survivors other than her husband, Phil Thorpe include her children, Jason Thorpe, Aaron Thorpe Narron and husband Sam, and Thomas Thorpe; grandchildren, Chloe Thorpe, Alex Thorpe, Avery Thorpe, Lillie Narron, Emma Thorpe and Trey Narron; a sister, Paula Parker; several nieces and nephews. Toni was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Susan Howell.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Harvest Baptist Church by Pastor Larry Lamberth with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10-10:45am Saturday at the church prior to the service.
