Tracy Lafferty

Mrs. Tracy Putnam Barbee Lafferty, age 75, of 2104 S. Mebane St, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Myrtle Loy Putnam and wife of Harold Eugene Lafferty who survives. She was a member of Johnson Baptist Church in Browns Summit and retired as the cashier at K&W Cafeteria. Survivors include her husband Harold Eugene Lafferty of the home; sons, Roger Barbee, Tracy Barbee and wife Pam, Gregory Barbee and Chris Barbee and wife Angela all of Burlington and Randy Barbee and wife Bonnie of Holly Springs; daughter, Kimberly Stevens of Elon; step son Ronnie Eugene Lafferty of Tallahassee, FL; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Sylvia Allen of Carthage; brother, Elmer Lee Putnam of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Bobby Gene Barbee; brothers, Ed, Steve and Weldon Putnam and a sister, Doris Turner. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday February 25, 2010 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Shallow Ford Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 6-8 pm Wednesday and at other times at the home of Tracy and Pam Barbee; 1554 W. Davis St., Burlington.
