Vicente Marquez Lopez

Vicente Marquez Lopez, 75, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. A native of Tampico, Tamaulipas Mexico he was the son of the late Ignacio Marquez Camacho and Delfina Lopez Gomez. 

Vicente worked as a machine operator at CCP until his retirement.  In his free time, he enjoyed going fishing, watching soccer, grocery shopping and spending time with his family at family gatherings.  He loved singing, dancing, attending church and was always such a happy and lively person.  He was so proud of being an American citizen and always had so much love and respect for the American flag. 

He was an amazing dad, great and goofy uncle, good brother, the best son grandma could have.   He will be dearly remembered and eternally loved by the ones who met him.  Live forever in our hearts and minds. Vicente Marquez Lopez. 

Vicente is survived by his children; Javier and wife, Flor, Maria De Lourdes and husband, Arturo Ruiz, Oscar and wife, Joana Galvanm Viviana and boyfriend, Ethan Eddinger, grandchildren; Arthur, Edwardo, Rodrigo, Jovani, Jorge, Abigail, Natalia, Melanie and Santiago, siblings; Melquiades and wife, Esperanza, Gregorio and wife, Luca, Joaquina, Adelina, Maria Isabel, Felicitas and Teresa and husband, Willy Olivares.  He was preceded in death by his mother; Delfina Lopez Gomez, father; Ignacio Marquez Camacho, siblings; Aurelio Marquez and Ismael Marquez. 

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church by Father Vincent Rubino with   Interment to follow at Northlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 6-8 PM at Lowe Funeral Home.
