Virginia Mae Grizzle Baugh

Virginia Mae Grizzle Baugh, 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Alamance Healthcare after several months of declining health. She was born in Russell County, VA on August 17, 1936 to the late Steven and Lenora Owens Grizzle, and was married to the late Donald Lee Baugh who died in 1998.

 Virginia retired from Burlington Industries Pioneer Plant after 28 years of service. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church, where she loved her church family very much. Virginia enjoyed reading, planting flowers, her rose bushes were her favorite, talking on the phone everyday with her best friend, Bettye Price, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

 She is survived by her children, Danny Baugh and wife Monica, Jennifer Johnson and husband Jason, and Pamela Billings and husband Billy Jr.; grandchildren, Matthew Baugh and wife Gwen, Megan Perry and husband Joey, and Allison Billings; great grandchildren, Hunter and Chloe Perry; her sisters, Eva Griffin, Diana Laster, Linda Maxfield and Joyce Monk and husband George; brothers, David Grizzle and Terry Grizzle and wife Judy; and several nieces and nephews.

 Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings, Dallas Grizzle, Cline Grizzle, Ollie Grizzle, George Grizzle and Catherine Grizzle.

 The funeral service to celebrate the life of Virginia will be held at 11:00AM Monday, February 26, 2024 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor David McDaniel with the burial to follow at Graham Memorial Park.
