Virginia Boggs Terrell

Virginia Boggs Terrell, 80, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the youngest of 11 children, born at Duke Hospital on January 7, 1940 to the late Columbus Jackson and Nelia Ross Boggs and was married to James Larry Terrell who survives.

Virginia was a native of Saxapahaw and graduated from Eli Whitney high school.  She lived most of her life in Burlington and travelled extensively throughout Europe and the Americas, including all 50 states. She was also an avid Tarheels fan and had a lifelong love for Myrtle Beach. She retired from Lucent Technologies and was member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She is survived by her husband, children; Jeffrey Duane Terrell (Karen), Kevin Michael Terrell, Kimberly Michele Terrell York (Shannon) and grandchildren; Jacob Terrell, Alexandria Terrell, Hannah Terrell, Cole York and sister; Katie Boggs Bowden (Don)

The funeral service will be held 4:00pm Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Lowe Funeral home Chapel. Virginia will be available for public viewing from 1:00pm to 4:30pm, Saturday, November 7, 2020 and Sunday, November 8, 2020 from 1:30 to 3:30 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory. The burial will be held 12 noon Monday, November 9, 2020 at Alamance Memorial Park.
