Walter Turner, Jr.

Burlington Walter William Lewis "Junior" Turner, Jr., age 69, of 2776 Judy Lane, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Duke Medical Center. A native of Alamance County, he was the son of the late Walter William Lewis Turner, Sr. and Nora Clayton Turner and husband of Gail M. Turner who survives. Junior was employed by Carolina Supply for many years and later by Willie Saul Plumbing. Survivors include his wife, Gail Montgomery Turner of the home; daughters, Deborah T. Hilton and husband Robert of Elon and Tammy L. Belton and husband Perry of Burlington; grandchildren, Robert Cook and Brittany Belton; sister, Mary T. Zimmerman of Burlington. There will be no funeral service. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory from 6-8pm Wednesday and at the residence at other times.
