Wanda Collins Glosson, 75, of 109 Allen St. went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 30, 2005 at her residence. She was born in Amelia County, VA, daughter of the late Grady Ray Collins and Laura Elva Thompson Collins and was married for 60 years to Claydeen Carlyle Glosson, who survives. She was a former employee of Collins and Aikman and later retired from Royal Home Fashions. Mrs. Glosson was a member of People's Memorial Christian Church, involved with Rest Home ministry and other outreach activities, and was a caregiver to all. She is survived by her husband, Claydeen Carlyle Glosson of the home, daughters and son-in-law, Gaye G. and Paul Long of Graham and Donna Glosson of Graham; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey C. and Lisa Glosson of Knoxville, TN and Jerry and Renee Glosson of Pittsboro; grandchildren, Eric P. and Stephanie Long of Burlington, Brooki Williams of Graham, Gayla N. Glosson of Knoxville, TN, Abbey M. Glosson and Rebecca, both of Pittsboro; great granddaughter, Julia Long; sister and brother-in-law, Rachel and George Hudson of Siler City and a sister-in-law, Anna Lois Collins of Liberty. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gilbert E. Collins. The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at People's Memorial Christian Church by Rev. John Shields. Interment will follow in Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
