William Keith Hyder, affectionately known as Keith, a beacon of generosity and kindness who touched lives of many with his heart of gold. peacefully passed away on April 12, 2024.
Keith was born on December 29, 1959, to his parents, William Earl Hyder, Jr. and Patty Cheek Hyder. Keith learned the values of family, compassion, and sharing from an early age. Throughout his life, Keith had a profound love for animals and had many special pets that he held dear to his heart. In his free time, Keith found solace in walking everywhere he went, finding peace and relaxation in the simple act of putting one foot in front of the other. As a dedicated sports enthusiast, he cheered passionately for the Carolina Tarheels, Panthers, Braves, and loved to watch NASCAR. He had a great love for softball, beginning by playing in the Pee Wee League and continuing through adulthood.
Keith's presence will be deeply missed by his surviving family and friends, including his devoted sister, Teresa Walker; his beloved nephew, Jordan Walker; as well as a host of cousins. In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his sister, Cynthia Jean Hyder and many beloved pets.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate Keith's life will be held at 11 AM on April 17th, 2024 at Alamance Memorial Park.
