William Postlethwait

Burlington, NC William "Bill" Eugene Postlethwait, age 56, formerly of Andrews, NC died on Friday, July 23, 2010 at the hospice home. He was the husband of Christine Zagorsky Postlethwait who survives. Bill retired after 28 years with the US Forestry Service. He was a graduate of NC State University receiving a BS in Forestry and a Silviculturalist by the US department of Agriculture. He is survived by his wife; son, Will Postlethwait and his wife, Marcia of Burlington; sisters, Margaret "Peg" Kalinowski and her husband, Joseph of Pittsboro, Mina Grossman and her husband, Larry of Blacksburg, Virginia; brother, Raymond Postlethwait, Jr. and his wife, Joan of Durham. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Patricia Blazes Postlethwait; parents, Dr. Raymond Woodrow Postlethwait and Mary Elizabeth Corbett Postlethwait. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel.
