William Stewart, Jr.

Burlington, NC William "Junior" Frederick Stewart, Jr., age 66 went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Hospice Home surrounded by his family. He was a native of Alamance County and the son of the late William Frederick Stewart, Sr. and Mildred Marie Hinshaw Stewart Stacey. William retired from Glen Raven Mills and will greatly be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his sisters, Lou Ann Stewart and Tammy Rector and husband, Butch all of Burlington; brothers, Henry Alexander Stewart of Graham and Robert Wayne Stewart, Sr. and wife, Linda of Burlington and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Barbara Ann Harden and Ruth McCutcheon. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Darrell Cox and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home and other times at the home of his brother, Robert W.
