Cleston “CO” Odell Hedrick, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 6, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was a native of Guilford County and the son of the late William Edward and Pauline Violet Hackett Hedrick and was the husband of 49 years to Donna Foster Hedrick who survives.
C.O retired after 30 years of service with AT & T and successfully ran his own business, Hedrick Electric. He was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church and a volunteer fireman with Northeast Fire Department Station # 34. He loved beach music and music from the 70’s and 80’s. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Donna F. Hedrick; daughters, Michelle Kincer (Larry) of Burlington and Marcia Hedrick (Clint) of Gibsonville; grandchildren, Gerald Kincer (Lauren) , Jacob Kincer, Preston Melton (Erin), Joseph Kincer and Nikolas Melton; step grandchild, Zane Kincer (Courtney); great grandchildren, Angelina and Helaina Melton; step grandchildren, Maddie and Paisley Kincer; brother, Colen Hedrick (Kay); sisters, Rachel Burke (Billy) and Valetta Perkins (Paul) and several nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Bethlehem Christian Church by Rev. Todd Felkel with the burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-7pm on Thursday at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the home.
