Crawford McKinzie, Jr.

Mr. Crawford Cecil McKinzie, Jr., age 79, of Gibsonville, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell after several years of failing health.

Born in Brooklin, NY, he was the son of the late Crawford Cecil McKinzie, Sr. and Mrs. Emily Gaskins McKinzie Crisp, who survives.  He was married for over six years to Mrs. Diane Speas Faison-McKinzie, who survives.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and retired after serving over 22 years in the military.  After his service in the military he was employed by the Federal Government in New York for over 20 years.  He was of the Christian faith.

Mr. McKinzie is survived by his wife of the home; four children, Darlene McKinzie, Terry McKinzie, Anthony McKinzie and Reginald McKinzie; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The family will be allowing friends to drive-by and register from 3:00 - 5:00 PM Friday, May 22, 2020 at the residence located at 200 Redstone Ct., Gibsonville, NC 27249. There will also be a memorial service in New York at a future date.
