Ernest "Ernie" White III

Ernest “Ernie” Columbus White III, 59, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at ARMC. He was the husband of Melinda Hudson White who survives and the son of Ernest Columbus White, Jr and the late Jackie Binkley White.

Ernie retired from Elon University and was a US Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Melinda Hudson White of the home; children, Ernest “Chris” White of Charleston, SC., Samantha White Magdarz and husband, Brandon of Burlington and Alcy “AJ” Jarvis White of the home; granddaughter, Mya Ann Magdarz; father, Ernest Columbus White, Jr. and his sister, Tracey Hall and husband, Dana of Greensboro. His feline and canine companions, “Skinny”, “Soxie”, “Kitty”, “Bo”, LuLu”, “Calie”.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 3:30PM at the home of Ernest Columbus White, Jr.
