Eula Gregory

Mrs. Eula Powell Gregory, age 94, of Yanceyville, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 surrounded by her family at her home after several months of failing health.

Born in Wake County, she was the daughter of the late James Banham Powell and the late Delitha Adams Powell and was married for over 52 years to the late Nathaniel Seaton Gregory, who passed in 1996.  She retired from the Caswell County Court System and was a member of Woodland Baptist Church in Wake Forest. Eula Mae loved working in her vegetable and flower garden.  She was an avid quilter and loved sewing.  She was known for her homemade fried apple pies and buttermilk biscuits.  She instilled in her children values of faith, love, and most of all, dedication to family and friends.

Mrs. Gregory is survived by her ten children, Barbara Smith (Jimmy), Shari Dabbs (Doug), Sandra Wright (Javon), Treva Winstead (J.C.), Remona Beagle (Kenny, deceased) Beverly Jenkins (Dale), Darlene Whitlow (Kurt), Shelia Gregory, Dexter Gregory (Diane) and Eugene Gregory (June); seventeen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, five sisters, three brothers, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 16, 2020 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Ray Gooch.  Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.  Mrs. Gregory will be available for viewing from 12:00 – 5:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
