Eva Jenkins

Graham – Eva Juanita Wolf “Granny” Jenkins, 92, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 14, 2021 while surrounded by her family.  A native of Fayette County, IN she was born January 13, 1929 to the late James and Mary Nolan Wolf.

Eva, known by most as “Granny”, enjoyed watching her soap operas, game shows and pro wrestling.  She loved playing BINGO and drinking her Diet Pepsi…preferably from a bottle!!  For many years she enjoyed her weekly trip to the beauty shop, always stopping at the bakery for a coffee and donut on her way.   One of her favorite pastimes was swinging on the front porch, watching the traffic & waving to the many people she knew as they drove by.  She had such a unique obsession with Kleenex & napkins that it became an inside family joke. Granny never missed her grandson’s ball games.   Her family was her life!   Granny will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Vicki E. Geise; stepson, Gary Craft; foster daughters, Dottie Jo Shedd (Alan), Sherry Klemme (Steve) and Marjorie Garcia (Adan); a special grandson, Raymond Conaway; special granddaughter, Karyn Robinson (Bradley); 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, five step great-great grandchildren; son-in-law, Michael Conaway and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Marsha Conaway and granddaughter, Ray-Anna Denise Conaway.

A graveside service to celebrate Eva’s life will be held 3:00pm on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Graham.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Authoracare Collective (Hospice), 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
