Frances Knight Rice

Frances Knight Rice, 85, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2020 after years of declining health.  Before moving to Twin Lakes, she was a resident of Caswell County where she was an active member of Kerr’s Chapel Baptist Church and retired from Tower Mills.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde L. Rice, Sr.; daughters, Alesia Smith and Nancy Barrett and son, James “Jimmy” Rice.  She is survived by her son, Clyde L. Rice, Jr. of Greensboro; daughter, Karen J. Rice of Wilmington; sisters, Lila Herry and Pat Jeffries and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held on Thursday at Kerr’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.  Viewing hours will be held from 2-4pm on Wednesday. Due to the current pandemic, the family will not be present.
