Fredric "Fred" Michaels

Fredric “Fred” Isley Michaels, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Hospice Home.  He was born August 16, 1932 in Guilford County to the late Maurine Isley Brown and was married to the late Evelyn Frances Daniels Michaels.  Fred served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He retired from Bellsouth after thirty-eight years of service and was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America.  Fred was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. His favorite past time was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children; Tracey Michaels, Kyle Michaels and a grandson Devin Tyler Michaels and his pal Zander, his dog.

There will be a graveside service Twelve noon on Wednesday, January 15th, 2020 at Alamance Memorial Park.

Keeping with Fred’s wishes there will be no visitation.
