James Wall

James Ervin Wall, 88, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019 at his home.  He was born in Surry County and was the son of the late John William Wall and Mary Hutchens Wall.  He was married for 56 years to Janice Strouth Wall who died September 26, 2014.  He was formerly employed by Culp Finishing and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Jule F. Wall, two nieces and a nephew.  He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, sisters, Lizzie Mangum and Mae O’Neal, brothers, Howard, Garland and Andrew Wall.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Bruce Readling.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
