Burlington – Jerry Lee Byerly, 73, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 25, 2021 t ARMC surrounded by his family. Jerry was born on March 16, 1948 in Davidson County to the late Walter Levi Byerly, Sr. and Edith Katherine Gilbert Byerly.

Jerry was employed with Vocational Trades for many years. He was a former member of the Celebration Singers preforming concerts in the local area. He was an avid UNC “Tarheel” fan and his favorite food was a hotdog. Jerry was a special man who brought joy to his family and friends.

Jerry is survived by his sisters, Peggy Jean Mansfield of Elon, Betty Sue Byerly of Elon and Debbie Sue Hunsucker of Virginia; brother, Walter Levi Byerly, Jr. of Burlington and several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Nancy Hodge. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Kathy Sue Byerly and Faye Maria Byerly and a brother, Joseph “Joe” Edward Byerly.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Magnolia Cemetery in Elon by Rev. David Satterfield. The family will receive friends from 1-1:45pm prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
