Jimmie Daniel Tingen

Jimmie Tingen, 69, went to be the Lord on October 7, 2021.  He was born May 29, 1952. He was a loving and devoted husband for over 50 years to Ruby Loftis Tingen. Jimmie had one son Jim Allen Tingen and two Grandkids, Allison and AJ Tingen all of Burlington.  Jimmie was employed for 34 1/2 years at the Burlington Industries Pioneer plant.  He retired from LabCorp after 15 years of service.  Jimmie was a kind and very lovable man. Everyone loved to be around him, he never met a stranger. Jimmie loved working on old cars and enjoyed Fishing and Gardening.

Other survivors include mom, Vidie Barbee Tingen of Burlington and sister, Janice Black of Liberty. Jimmie had many nieces, nephews and lots of dear close friends.

He was Preceded in death by this dad, James Daniel Tingen.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Lowe Funeral home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12:45-1:45 Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
