Kenneth Mitchell

Graham – Kenneth Ray Mitchell, 81, passed away on March 24, 2020 at his home. He was born in Alamance County on February 3, 1939 to the late Edwin Freeman Mitchell and Deulah Mae Sykes Mitchell and was the husband of 47 years to the late Patsy Lee Norris Mitchell.

Ray served as a US Army Veteran in Germany and was employed with Roadway Express for 32 ½ years.  He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

He is survived by special nieces, nephews and in-laws.  He was preceded in death by his wife, parents; brothers, James E. Mitchell, Lindley F. Mitchell, John F. Mitchell and Carl H. Mitchell and a sister, Faye Peele.

A private graveside will be held at Alamance Memorial Park by Pastor Andy Clapp of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
