Leonard Hadley

Leonard Keith Hadley, 59, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Alamance Regional Hospital.

Leonard was born in Alamance County to the late Clarkson Lindley and Callie Peace Hadley on November 7, 1960.  He worked as a flour milling operator at Lindley Mills and at Walmart for several years until his health declined.  Leonard was very smart and jovial and loved old cars and car parts.  Hobbies included watching old cowboy movies and reading.  He will be missed by his family and friends.

Leonard is survived by his brother, William Hadley and wife, Brenda of Snow Camp; his sister, Joan Helton and husband, Andy of Burlington; longtime girlfriend, Barbara Kovacs of Snow Camp; and two nieces and two nephews; and step-daughter, Shannon Barber of Cleveland; and many true friends that will miss him.

Along with his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by an infant brother, Clarkson L. Hadley, Jr.

The memorial service will be held at South Fork Friends Church Cemetery on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 2:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Jon Helton.  Visitation for the family and friends will follow the service in the church fellowship hall.
