Nellie Clack

Nellie Moss Jones Clack, 87, passed away Friday March 13, 2020 at White Oak Manor.  She was born July 8, 1932 in Robbins, NC to the late Charles Edward and Daisy Lingerfelt Moss and was married to the late Aubrey “Pete” Lee Jones, Sr. and the late Dr. James Leroy Clack.  Nellie was a member of Vandola Baptist Church in Danville, VA.  She enjoyed crocheting, playing the piano and being around people.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughter Teresa “Sissie” Richter (John); step-sons, Larry Clack (June), Jim Clack; granddaughter, Robin “Sunni” Parsons (Phyllip); grandsons, Kent Jones (Jade), Lee Jones (Amanda); step grandchildren, Brent Clack (Ashley), Brandon Clack, Christian Clack (Katey), Cassidy Clack; ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands; parents; a son, Aubrey “Butch” Lee Jones, Jr.; a grandson Phillip Michael Tickle; stepson Danny Clack; eight siblings.

The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Daryl Joyce. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 12:30 – 1:45 PM prior to the funeral at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.
