Peggy Jenkins Hall

Peggy Jenkins Hall, 83, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at the Hospice Home. She was born on May 6, 1936 in Alamance County to the late Walter Morris Jenkins and Mable Graham Jenkins, and was married to the late Edward Lee Hall who died in 1999.

Peggy worked as a teacher’s assistant at Harvey R. Newlin Elementary school for over twenty years. She was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, and she enjoyed crafts, especially making greeting cards for the ARMC Cancer Center.

She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Hall Coon and husband, Doug; a son, Craig Hall and wife, Heather Holley-Hall; grandchildren, Shannon Lee Navarrete and husband David, Joshua “Josh” Edward Holley and Benjamin Ellis Hall; a sister, Patricia J. Miller and husband, Frank; and numerous nieces and nephews. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband and parents, and by her brothers, Jack and Donald Jenkins.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel, led by Rev. Billy Joe Willis and Rev. Bennie Smith. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm to 1:45pm Saturday prior to the service.
