Roy Hall

Roy Thomas Hall, 83, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at his home.  He was born in Caswell County to the late Cryil Sylvester Hall and Hettie Mae Barker Hall and was married to Betty Landis Hall who survives.  He retired as plant manager from Copland Fabrics after 45 years of service and was a member of Swepsonville United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife Betty; children, Debbie (Keith) Perry, Linda York, Faith (Phillip) Welch, Dawn (Mike) Kirkpatrick, Michelle (Jeff) Woodlief; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Schutte, Kathleen (Ralph) Harden and brother-in-law, Silas Whitt.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Jo Hall, son, Wayne Baker, parents, 6 sisters and a brother.

The funeral will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Christi Dye and Pastor Howard Thompson with interment to follow in Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday at the funeral home and other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Methodist Home for Children, 1041 Washington St., Raleigh, NC 27605-1259 or to Swepsonville United Methodist Church, 1307 E. Main St., Graham, NC 27253.
