Sandra Johnson

SILER CITY, NC- Mrs. Sandra Irene Meanor Johnson, age 65, of Siler City, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after several weeks of failing health.

Born in Rock Island, IL, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Meanor and the late Irene Ingle Meanor and was married for over 44 years to John Paul Johnson, who survives.  She was the long time manager of Shady Lawn Apartments and attended Community Baptist Church.  She was a full time mother, grandmother and animal lover.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband of the home; three children, Tonya (Jay) Cooley, Jamey (Angie) Johnson and Justin Johnson; three step children, Jeral Johnson, Denise Smith and Michelle Pernell; seven grandchildren, Brittany, Victoria, Dylan, Samantha, Zoe, Destiny and Kara; six Step grandchildren, Ashley, Krystal, Randy, Drea, Candace, and Bailey; one great grandson, Rylan; five step great grandchildren, Jason, Jaxon, Jonathan, Nicole and Makaela; and a sister, Vi Finkenbinder.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Community Baptist Church, 2575 Hamp Stone Rd., Siler City, NC 27344.
