Before departing her life, Sharon lived a very fulfilling Life. She was foremost a woman of character, Honesty, Integrity, Generosity and perseverance. From her early tom-boy days she evolved into a proactive and successful business woman and wife. She started out in banking as a teller and soon rose to Assistant Branch MGR. From banking she moved into the transportation industry in accounting and ended up as one of the top sales reps for the local office of Overnight Transportation.
Sharon had a flair to decorate, loved to entertain, and loved to get family and friends together to have good times. She was a very giving person. Her infectious smile and personality always made people feel comfortable and welcome. Through the years, many who knew her were fortunate to experience her extraordinary hospitality.
Outside of her love for family and friends she loved to travel. She loved to go canoeing and especially loved the thrill of white-water rafting. Her travels took her along the east coast from N.Y. City to Disney World & Universal Studios. Outside of the U.S., she visited numerous islands in the Caribbean on cruises (9) as well as many resorts throughout Mexico. Her later years found her still having good times and enjoying herself at Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Sharon was all things that describe a devoted wife, but also a loving companion, partner and best friend. Life with the “General” was a God sent wonderful adventure. She will be deeply missed by all the lives she touched.
