Stephen Reinheimer

Stephen Francis Reinheimer, age 56, of Gibsonville, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019  surrounded by his family.  A native of Poughkeepsie, New York, Steve was the son of the late Harry and Mary Lou Reinheimer.  Steve was a heating and air mechanic for most of his career, but enjoyed a multitude of other activities including woodworking, painting, gardening and a love of history.

Steve is survived by his three children Carrie Sockwell and husband Webb; sons, Joseph Reinheimer and Ethan Reinheimer; three wonderful granddaughters, Adalynn Jane, Avery Diamond and Amelia Lee Sockwell and former wife, Susan Sidden Reinheimer.. Steve was one of 8 children of Harry and Mary Lou.  His brothers and sisters who also survive are Tom Reinheimer,  Margi Baffa, Ted Reinheimer, Richard Reinheimer, Jim Reinheimer, Paul Reinheimer and Ann Butler.

A private funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Elon by Rev. Mason Smith.
Memorials may be made to American Heart and Stroke Association, American Red Cross or one of Steve’s favorite charities, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
