Virginia Fausel

Virginia Loy Fausel,95, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. She was born January 22, 1925 in Alamance County to the late William Mckinley and Oneida Clapp Loy. She was the wife of 60 years to the late Emil Thomas Fausel who died in 2013.

Virginia retired from textiles and was a member of S. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and was the church historian.  She enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Maria Scott and husband, Danny of Burlington and a son, Wilson “Beaver” Fausel and wife, Becky of Cary; grandchildren, Jordan Scott Ott and husband, Steven, Brooke Scott Moize and husband, Josh, Makayla Scott and Heath Fausel; Sister, Hildred Isley of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; brothers, J C. Loy and Kemp Loy.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery by Rev. Nathan Hooks. Mrs. Fausel will be available for viewing from 1-5 pm on Sunday and 8am-Noon of Monday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
